This plane was one of the last allied planes out of Vietnam.
Possibly the only accommodation of its type in the world.   Beautifully decorated this unique accommodation is surprisingly affordable for your stay in wonderful Waitomo.

With your accommodation we can book any caving adventures, Black water Rafting and also Horse riding.

There is two separate units in the Plane the Cockpit Unit which can sleep up to 4 people it has a double bed and a sofa that pulls out to a large single - up in the cockpit there is a double mattress on the floor, this is more suitable for kids as it has a very low ceiling (we do have the odd big kids sleeping up there as well). To get to the cockpit you have to climb a steep ladder, we recommend children be over 6- 7 years old to climb this safely. Unit has very little floor space.

Tail Unit of the Plane can sleep up to 4 people it has a double bed and a set of bunks (bunks are slightly narrower than a normal size bunk & has a steep ladder up to the top bunk.)

NZ$175 for the Cockpit and $160 for the Tail from 1st October 2009 - 30th September 2010.
Prices Quoted for accommodation are for a double (2 people) and there is a extra charge of $15.00 for each extra person.
Checkin is from 1pm : Checkout 10am (late check out may incurr another nights fee)
